Those have been tough days. Since my
40-something birthday two weeks ago my life has been turning and must end
turning 180 grades. And the beginning is with this hard-to-do exercise. I
accepted the challenging invitation to do it from Sjrdan Popovic, a guy who
enjoys exercising and motivates other people (like myself) too. If you

I am passing for great trials, so instead
of being focus in my troubles –which are very big- my energies are concentrated
in something more interesting, like doing something for my health.
So, one week ago started to make burpees,
50 in a day (just imagine that). One burpee consists in four basic movements,
squat+pushup+squat+jump. Doing those 50
burpees was terrible for me, but I manage to do it, even if wasn´t neat. At the
beginning I did most of them without the pushup, because that was the hardest
part for me and resting between sets. Even with those specials arrangements my
whole body was in intense pain, specially my back.
But I have kept doing my burpees, not completely
neat yet, but working on it. Today could make 70 with pushups, 30 in a row and
resting between the others 50. This is incredibly awesome for me. Thanks God
for giving me the strength (physical and emotional) and thanks to Sjrdan
Popovic and the great community that help me to keep motivated and in track.
New report next week cause is late and
tomorrow morning must do my burpees.
